Summary
BULLETIN APPLIES TO NS VEHICLES BUILT AT ST. LOUIS PRIOR TO NOV. 17, 1995 (MDH 1117XX), AND VEHICLES BUILT AT WINDSOR PRIOR TO NOV. 21, 1995 (MDH 1121XX). BODY BUILD VARIATIONS AND THERMAL EXPANSION/CONTRACTION OF THE HOOD, MAY CAUSE THE UNDER HOOD LAMPS TO ILLUMINATE AND IF EQUIPPED WITH VTSS/ VTA, UNEXPLAINED ALARM ACTIVATION. ALSO, THE BATTERY MAY RUN DOWN W/ NO CHARGING SYSTEM MALFUNCTION. THE SYMPTOM CAN BE INTERMITTENT. BULLETIN INVOLVES PROPERLY INSTALLING A NEW LONG STROKE SWITCH FOR UNDERHOOD LAMP.
