Town & Country 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission

I own a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country. At approx. 25K mileage, left front strut replaced under warranty. Now out of warranty at 39,000 miles, the sway bar links need to be replaced. Dealer recommends that related bushings be replaced as well because "we've seen a number of them go bad." Other comment that "we've seen the links go earlier than this" indicate to me that there is a systemic problem(s) here. Car has not been driven in extraordinary situations that might cause early failure of such parts. At the age of 55, I have owned many cars and never have I experienced such early failure of steering/suspension parts. How many others have had the same issues with these vehicles?
