problem #3

Town & Country 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 64,000 miles

Wife said she signaled right and turned right; driver behind blew horn and shouted. She noticed left signal resetting to OFF. She claimed this happened several times in one week. Whenever I drove the car, the signals worked fine. She resented suggestion to seek psychiatric help. THEN it actually happened to me, a MAN. Then it never occurred again and I survived on a diet of 'Crow' for some time. This was the winter of 2014, exact date unknown; mileage about 64,000. No action was taken since I was unable to reproduce the symptom.

I go to turn on the right blinker and the left one activates and vice versa. It is intermittent right now yet it is getting more persistent. Went to car place and they told me this is common with dodge/chrysler mid 2000 automobiles and that the computer memory needs updating to fix the issue.

It started with the left turn signal not working, now sometimes when you turn on left signal the right one flashes. It is very intermittent, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
