The light just came on it went in and got fixed. It really was no big deal.

Town & Country Touring 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 47,500 miles

chrysler at first denied this problem,(1MILLION+)2004-2005's have been recalled and dates back to 1998. Can't tell me if new replacement parts have been upgraded, or will replace defective junk with same old junk. Chrysler took 1billion+ in government (ours) money at least use some of it to fix MAJOR safety issues and not use to pay their top monkeys with it

Town & Country LX

  • 4,000 miles

The airbag warning light illuminates and there's a chime when turning the steering wheel. Definitely seems like the clockspring in the steering column. The interesting thing is the chime doesn't sound every time the light comes on and the light comes on and goes off several times during a drive. It almost seems like the software expects this intermittent glitch and doesn't want to annoy the driver with constant chiming.

I have seen this problem on Chrysler minivans as far back as 1998. What the hell's the matter with these guys! You'd think they could figure this out in eight years!
