Caliber RT 2.4L

  • CVT transmission
  • 90,000 miles

Where do I even begin. I have had a 2007 Dodge Caliber for 2 and a half years with 100k miles on it and so far I have had to replace the alternator twice, ball joints on the front end, the intake manifold, and the catalytic converter, when all is said and done I have spent over $3,500 on repairs. A brief search online has shown me that thousands of people have had these same issues and are going broke as am I trying to fix this god awful lemon of a car.

I am at my wits end and ready for a class action lawsuit. I really want to get as many Dodge Caliber owners as possible to either sign a petition or start a class action lawsuit. Dodge released a faulty product and needs to pay its customers back for their loss of wages, time, and income. My credit card debt is growing in large part to this damn car.

Caliber SE 1.8L

  • Manual transmission
  • 59,652 miles

look into aftermarket parts for this car. even the cheapest sh*t is infinitely better than dodge replacement parts.

and why are all parts available only at the dealer? did they design these problems purposely.......hmmmmm

Caliber R/T 2.4L

  • CVT transmission
  • 69,500 miles

Brought this car in for a code read at the local auto place. They say oh it just an O2 Sensor going bad nothing to worry about. Bring it to Dodge they say the same thing. Then once the Warranty runs out, they tell us hey you need a new catalytic converter. This all started when we had only 55000 miles on the car now we have almost 69000 on it and they tell us that now. So we looked in to fixing this part and it is going to be close to 3000 USD or to do it ourselves it would be about 400 for my the CAT Converter...

Caliber SXT 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 74,565 miles

The quote from Dodge on this repair is $2500 - $2700. Part is dealer only.......hmmmmm? Just does not seem right. Car runs great.....however the engine light on prevents me from selling it....I must fix the problem...at a high cost.

Caliber SXT 2.0L

  • CVT transmission
  • 78,000 miles

This started as a check engine light code P0 420 that started at 50,000 miles and the dealer tried every thing to avoid replacement, software, O2 sensors and spark plugs. Total time to me was high 4 visit to shop to get proper repair.
