Caravan ES 3.9L

This is an ongoing problem the only fix I've been told for it is to replace the fuel pump which is located in the fuel tank. something about a check valve . Ford had the same STUPID idea. Any ideas? my one idea is put a check valve in the fuel line. yes / no HELP.
