problem #1

Challenger 5.7L Hemi

  • Manual transmission
  • 7,000 miles

Car won't recognize key to start.Had it towed to the dealership who says the alarm module needs replacing, the part will arrive in the morning. The following day,the dealership calls to ask if I need a car.then he explains that the key does not work and that Dodge is aware of the problem and have made 500 keys for folks.BUT 680 of us are in need of these keys...AND the 500 they made were just released May 12th...Yesterday!!!!!I put $20,000. down and the dealership treats me as though we never met! They are the worst! They are offering a Kia spec? That I might be able to pick up tomorrow,3 days with out a car and 2 children that I need to get to school and pick up And we are approaching the end of the school year,so I did have fun getting us to school tonight for Open house!I

CAN NOT believe the inconsideration of Dodge to not inform their customers of this possible situation but seems it isn't life threating, there is no law to make them act morally!I was hoping to buy another Challenger and knew I couldn't posibly buy it from the same people I bought the one I have BUT I am not so sure I want another one!I have had this car only 7 months!Left stranded and with out 3 days thus far!How long does it take Dodge ot make a key?
