Challenger SE 3.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 76,000 miles

7,000 miles since last oil change and engine locks up. No oil on dipstick. Completely empty. Been told it is normal for it to consume 1 qt every 1,000 miles. WTF?! Does Dodge tell you this when you buy it brand new. Nope! This is a 2009 vehicle and they consider this "normal"? Unbelievable! Will never buy another Dodge and will tell every dodge owner I see to beware! It's the 3.7 engine. Never had blue smoke and the under carnage of the car is "dust" dry. Why didn't the oil light come on when it's 2 qt low or something? No warning about low oil pressure or anything?

Challenger SE 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,000 miles

This car burns oil really quickly. I use full synthetic and change my oil and filter every 5000 miles, and before I hit 2500 miles into the oil change, I'm adding another quart of oil. They say this is "normal".

Challenger V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

Did not cover tow? Car is burning oil. NEVER HAD TO ADD OIL BETWEEN CHANGES. Dealership told me that was normal consumption???? OWNED 6 NEW CAR AND NONE EVER HAD THAT!

I had to tow car to dealership today on my OWN DIME. I told service manager that engine didn't sound good and had them checked the oil the week before. It was @ min line after less then 1K miles? W t ... bleep! Someone needs to tell me why my car with only 40K miles on it gives me that much trouble.

Contacted corporate office, they were of little help. Also have replaced; the battery, winn module twice; fuel pump, tail light and 3rd brake light is flickering. And they don't cover that! And, ps the light is 250 dollars! Seems to be someone needs to figure out what the electrical problem is!
