Challenger SRT8 392 Hemi

  • Manual transmission

This is the second time I had to take my 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 to Ferman Dodge in New Port Richey to gets problems with dents and the paint fixed. The first time I brought it in July 2011 had a dent on the roof fixed and a crater in the paint on the passenger door.

On December 27, 2011 I noticed dents on the passenger side roof and identations on the both quarter panels right behind both doors. I took the Challenger to Ferman Dodge in January and got a run around from them. First they accused me of causing the dents by waxing to hard or having children throwing balls against my car. Second, they told me they did not cover repairing dents. I did research online and found other Challenger owners experience the same issues in almost the exact same locations.

I then file a case online with Dodge and told them I wanted this issue resolved and have my car fixed. They first told me that they would fix it with body filer. I told them they were not going to put body filer on my 7 month old vehicle. Body filler is the quick and cheap way to fix a car. Also, body filer will crack and come off in excessive heat and humidity. I live in Florida, the excessive heat and humidity capital of the U.S.

Now I am waiting to here back from Dodge and Ferman Dodge to see how they will fix my car.
