The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that after shifting the vehicle into drive, it accelerated without warning and caused the contact to crash into a building. The contact sustained a fractured thumb and whiplash that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the accelerator pedal fractured. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,316. Updated 4/27/15
