After taking care of this car I've notice that the manufacture has failed me. I began to think I was the only one that this has occurred to. And after further review it seems to me that most all Chargers are having the same issue. Which I think that Dodge should be held accountable for replacing the engine in the vehicle. If anyone is like myself you hate to give up such a beauty. But at this time I'm almost heartbroken to say it must be done. I feel whoever is responsible for making this engine should consider replacing not the same model in the vehicle but give a better brand. Or is that can not exist be considerate enough to give the owner have of what they have invested into the vehicle. But you must show proof. Dodge its not right and someone should be held accountable especially if we have to pay a car payment or cash in hand for this beauty. Please consider this letter to uphold your end of the bargain. It is only fair. My engine is gone. Sign unsatisfied costumer

The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Charger. While driving 40 mph, the vehicle veered from side to side. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the front end frame was corroded and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 131,285.

I was taking a left hand turn at aprox 15 mph an oncoming car changed lanes from a turn only lane and sped up through the intersection ( police estimated her speed at 35-45 mph ) she T boned into my passenger side. My car is being totaled. I have side impact airbags and headliner airbags. None deployed. My structure is twisted and bent facing the back of my car. My frame, my suspension is mangled.

Rear chassis bolts on front main subframe where it joins to the main chassis (entire front suspension mounts to this subframe) failed from what appears to be internal corrosion. Bolt failure led to 2" drop of the rear of the sub-frame. Inside of washers had corrosion, outside edges did not. Steering was diminished, binding and sluggish.

The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Charger. While driving approximately 80 mph the vehicle began to violently wobble back and forth. The contact also stated the vehicle performed as if it wanted to lift off of the ground. The failure recurred whenever the vehicle was driven at 80 mph. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where they were unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 39,000 and the current mileage was 41,000. . "sporadic" problem with the car developing a violent shake when traveling between 50-70mph. Problem has only been detected sporadically when going up/down inclines on interstate. Car loses momentum when problem occurs requiring me to completely let off gas and drop car into neutral to regain momentum. Cannot recreate problem at will, only occurs sporadically.. problem has occurred over 20 times since mid December 2009. Car has been taken on 7 separate occasions to local Dodge dealership where purchased (bob frensley chrsyler/Dodge). Five of these occasions invoicable work was performed as noted below. Dealership claims they can no longer recreate the problem and refuse to work on the car any longer. Problem has been reported to Dodge customer care with 2 separate cases being opened. Dodge customer care refuses to authorize any further work unless the dealership acknowledges that they can recreate the problem.. both Dodge customer care and the dealership have verbally recommended the following solution: "continue to drive the car until the problem worsens and then bring it back to be serviced".. each time the car has been returned to me the problem has recurred within 3 days invoices: #1 (01/08/2010). Replaced fuel injector due to P0304 code cylinder #4 misfire. Replace left rear tire due to nail in tire (covered by extended warranty) #2 (01/18/2010). Flash upgrade torque converter (performed, not listed on invoice). Wheel balance (both front, both rear). Mount match wheel to tire (each wheel) #3 (01/26/2010). Replaced torque converter. Remove and reposition molding/windshield A-pillar #4 (02/12/2010). Flash upgrade torque converter (performed, not listed on invoice). Replace 4 low tire pressure sensors. Cross switch all tires. Front end/rear wheel alignment #5 (02/22/2010). Added antifriction modifier to transmission. Test drove vehicle and could not recreate problem.
