Last week I had to have it towed to the dealership due to the alternator went bad and also the air bag light was coming, so I had the air bag electrical harness replaced and after writing to Dodge the dealership covered the cost of the part but I to put out $280.00 in labor, only to find out a few days later that this part was already replaced in 2013 due to a recall. I had submitted a reimbursement form for this to FCA when I looked up all the recalls and was just informed that since the dealership paid for the part (good will form) that I am not entitles to a reimbursement for the labor. Two days, after I got my car back, the MIL light has come on and won’t go out(when I looked this up, it could be the catalytic converter, which would not be covered) and also my remote start doesn’t work anymore now either. When I mentioned this to the person at FCA, they told me it had nothing to do with the recall and I should take it back to the dealer and have it diagnosed. Now I will have to pay over a $100.00 for them to diagnose it. I haven’t been able to get back to the dealer for this new problem due to the fact that this is the only car we have right now and my niece was in a head on collision last week and my mother-in-law had a stroke. I am just so frustrated with this car. I bought this 2012 car brand new in November of 2011 and it only 27,000 miles on it. I maintain it regularly at the dealership. It has had 6 recalls on it, after the first six months of having it, i had to have the radio system and electrical stuff in the dash all replaced. I had to replace the tires at 20,000 miles, it cost me 150.00 for a new vent piece that broke when i went to open it. this is so ridiculous and i have had it. I have never had a car with this many problems.
