Charger SE 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 201,000 miles

Driver side front door outside handle just stopped working. It makes a click sound, but will not open. Inside handle works fine, all doors unlock and locks perfectly. It's so annoying having to climb in on passenger side to open the door and it's embarrassing being the car is only a few years old. This is the last American car I will be purchasing.

THE CAR IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD AND THE DOOR HANDLE ON THE DRIVER SIDE NO LONGER OPENS, I HAVE TO CLIMB IN MY PASSENGER SIDE AND CLIMB OVER MY SEATS JUST TO GET INTO THE CAR. I'VE OWNED A LOT OF NEW CARS AND I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS BEFORE.

Charger SE 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

Outside driver's door handle quit working. The lock button and unlock sensor still function but the handle has no tension when lifted. Have seen online where it may be something loose inside the door skin but, honestly, it's been too cold for me to tear apart so I pop the door open from the passenger side from inside the vehicle. I intend to update this in the spring when I find out if it's an easy home repair or if I need to take this to the dealer.
