Dart Limited 1.4L

Once the temperature hits about 85 outside, the A/C starts blowing hot air. With many stop and go, air gets even hotter. It will only start cooling when on the open road.

A/C blows only hot air after new compressor

This is my daughters car, ac stopped working about 2 weeks ago only blows hot air, took to mechanic because the warranty is over and they found the AC compressor was shot. Replaced the ac compressor and still only blows hot air. Took to dodge dealer in San Antonio. They stated they don't know why it isn't blowing cold air but for a $129 an hour they will figure it out. I have been told by 2 other mechanics that a software update will fix this problem. has anyone else heard this.

The 2013 at least mine has so many problems from the transmission to a/c not working right to brakes, to computer going out several times while driving... radio and all goes out... tire monitoring has stopped working at times... so you could have the wrong amount of air ....

this car is a lemon... have had to two different dealers neither have a fix for any of the above... keep stalling I think until it goes off warranty...

I purchased car... said need good A/C that didn't happen... have sick mother in Wilsonville, Oregon is why I purchased a auto... uses less gas, but this car I can't drive in summer... as the a/c is causing moisture problems no one will fix and they don't know how... as dealer to install the dehumidifier they put in the 2015 they will not under the warranty... not sure it even will work with the system... but they don't care.

a/c is the same as the fiat pop if that says anything way undersized they know that will tell you that and will not write it done,, I'm ready just to leave it at the dealer and lemon law it... as it is no good to me if I have to use my truck ever time it is warm out....

This is very unfair... multiple times back in shop and no fixes,, just a patch or we don't know are the answers, the dealers blame the manufacture so you get no where... I'm sick of this, in the mean time my Mother is fading away and I have no way to get there without this auto...... but it is unsafe.... it surges .... its terrible....

thank you... any body help....... I don't want to get killed in this auto because .... the computer fails again and that doesn't have an error code show up when it is the computer working on and off.... one day it just would not start after I got some where..... turn the key and nothing ... let it sit and than it started.... crazy....

I love the car but not the problems I think if the 2015 a/c works and the problems are no in those ... they should give me another or refund my money and I would rather have the later as I don't trust it would not be the same problem every week.....
