My 2013 SXT 2.0 started to have the right front TPMS sensor stop working a few weeks back after driving the car for about 30 minutes. I assumed the issue was with the sensor itself as the car is 9 years old now and thought the sensor battery may be getting weak. Had the sensor replaced and others checked, and we were back to normal for a few weeks. Then the right front again dropped out after driving for 30-40 minutes. Checked the sensor again, and it is putting out the signal OK per the tire store, so we went on our way. So here is what is happening now. The car acts like it resets itself overnight and all the sensors behave in a normal fashion after first starting a drive. But they start to drop out beginning with right front consistently after about 30-40 minutes of driving. Then sometimes the left front goes out soon after followed by the left rear. The other thing I have noticed is the range on the fob for locking / unlocking gets really short during this same time of driving the car for a while. Fob batteries are all new. Car sits overnight for a day and things seem to be normal first thing again. Have been told this is a real common issue of late with the Darts and the RFHM (Radio Frequency Hub Module) is typically the culprit. This hub failure can also lead to other electronic issues such as dash lights / wipers / door locks / etc failing or working intermittently. Apparently to replace this module, it is expensive and can involve new keys as well.

Wheel lugs swell and become impossible to remove from the wheel hub, making it difficult to change a flat tire, a potentially dangerous problem on busy streets. Vehicle needed to be towed, with expensive repairs, simply to change a tire. An internet search confirmed this is a problem for many Dodge Dart owners.

Need to replace all 20 lug nuts they are all swollen and have to bang them off because tools don't fit because it's either to big or too small. Never had this happen to any of my car ever. Swollen lug nuts are from the way these look nuts are manufacturer from the dealer they get moisture in them making them swell. If they know they swell why make the lug nuts with that cap coating that eventually causes it? they are $12 a piece..I need 20. $240 for defective lug nuts that I'm going to have to keep buying is draft.. can't buy those fancy pretty lug nuts like other cars.. someone if you have the swollen lug nut issue report it please. Hopefully they'll submit a recall and stop making those lug nuts

Car will idle roughly while in drive and break is applie, if in neutral idle isn't rough. J have changed the spark plugs, gotten a tune up, changed the air filter and nothing has helped. Occasionally back passenger wont go up, radio screen will occasionally turn off while driving and radio often filled with static.

Takata recall this car is garbage ! Dodge shouldn't make this model anymore. I've been having problems two years in of having this car. I had to start changing tires so many time. Air always goes down, tires keep getting those air balls. (no I don't park close to the sidewalk or hit the sidewalk) my steering wheel always cracks everytime I turn it. My whole car shakes ! I press the brakes and it goes crazy. My engine messed up too (it had water inside) I had to fix some heating hose ! my window button stuggles to go up ?I had to change my battery three time ! keep in mind I got this car new. Zero everything ! for 6 years ! I've put so much money on a car I haven't even finished paying ! a car needs thing to get fixed but not like this! just isn't normal. Garage of a car! Dodge Dart SXT 2013 ! don't waste your money or time on this car. Save yourself.

My 2013 Dodge Dart has been going through issues for a year. My tires have been popping left and right brand new and used tires just popping while I'm driving with my kids in the car. The car now has a BCM problem as well as a small gas leak. I have went through multiple dealership that looked over the car and can't determine where the gas leak is coming from in which my check engine is still one which leave me to not be able to get the vehicle inspected or registered again. This car has caused me and my family so much money and issues. It hardly wants to drive, my key gets stuck in the ignition for some reason and I can't turn the car off. The Dodge and recall place told me they can not help me because my VIN is not recalled but I've been having the same issues as every other 2013 Dodge Dart.

I had my 2013 Dodge Dart for 3 years and for a year and a half I've had problems with tires to the point where they popped while driving, brand new tires, used tires it didn't matter. I spent so much money on just tires. To top it off I can't get the check engine light off because of the BCM and a leak somewhere. I went through all the procedure I brought a new gas cap, I brought a new sensor, I checked the wires no holes and nothing has worked. I still have two codes on my vehicle still after spending a lot of money to get it off

For years my cars traction light will randomly come on and sometimes my gear would stick, every time the dealership would say they could not find anything and the light would turn off. Now my car keeps slipping into neutral well I'm on the freeway going abouy 75/80 mpg. Now it's doing it constantly. This has been going on since I bought the vehicle brand new in 2014.

The Darts breaks started to flutter and then feel warped. Upon remove the rotors were imperfect based on poor quality molding/casting. The backside of the rotors have gouges where they have rusted but the break pads have never touched and in some areas the casting looks like it pooled and cooled different then the rest of the rotors... very cruddy and nasty across the rotors. The car started the issue when it only had 10K on it and it now has 17.5K and is getting worst.

Took ownership of car at 6,420 miles as the first owner. Noticed that the factory tires had "test tire" stamped into the sidewall of all four tires. Contacted yokohama customer service, who immediately shipped a new set of replacement tires if I guaranteed I would send the old tires back. No accident or injuries occurred but the new tires drove markedly different than the ones that came on the car.

While driving and attempting to come to a stop by pressing the break, the break out of nowhere became very difficult to press down and the car was difficult to stop. I was coming off the highway approaching a light. After I was able to press it down it let off a hissing noise. I took it in and was told it was the break booster that needed to be replaced. No one was able to inform me what caused it. I have never had any trouble prior to, no accidents and I am consistent with service. It is clear this is a manufacturing problem and a recall is in order. I do understand this is not the first or only complaint for the very same issue. This could result in death. Also their seems to be a problem with my airbag system and tire light as they have been triggered on their own and will not go off.

I have not been notified at all on my recalls. There has been several things I've called my dealership on and I thought it had been fixed not knowing it was a recall. But it is not fixed. My transmission won't let me put car in reverse very easy. My car engine rpms get higher when I approach to stop. It acts like it's not getting enough fuel St times like it cuts out. My bluetooth is hard to connect. My front driver tire has wore out 2 side walls tires but has never went flat but never shows it's very low but it is never the same as others. My car front driver makes a noise like suspension is messed up and it's very rough riding. I no longer get good gas mileage. When I go to park my car it wants to roll aft err being put in park. The breaks are very touchy. Barely graze the pedal and you'll hit the steering wheel. I wanted a new car all my life and after 35 years I was finally able to get one and I'm still in the same position as before. Please help on what to-do considering I've yet to even receive anything about my car having any recall. And I've got 2 kids that I'm raising alone andi'm it says can cause accident why can't I get a replacement car till they get the parts to make my car safe. I'm very unhappy

3 out of 4 humho solus KH25 225/45R17 K2X5 yal8 (2X 4112 and 3414) sidewall failures within one and a half years of purchase. These tires fell just short of the product recall serial numbers, but clearly have the same sidewall defects. One tire blew out a sidewall while driving at slow highway speeds, the other two tires have developed golf ball sized bulges in sidewall.

2013 Dodge Dart bought new from dealer. June 17, 2015 while traveling through a parking lot a approximately 20mph axle broke pulling it from transmission. Cv knuckle/joint, tie-rod all broke. Wheel and tire turned at a 90 degree angle from car. Left a divot in concrete where everything hit ground. Visual estimate by dealer was $6,500. Nothing was hit, no curb, no pot hole, speed bump, or any other object. Police report states there was nothing in the area to hit. No other damage to vehicle, such as impact from other objects. Service manager at dealership car was taken to said there was so much damage he couldn't tell what broke first. Chrysler legal special investigations team inspected vehicle. 3 weeks later they sent me a report saying it was not a mechanical defect and my extended warranty would not repair. They insist I file with my insurance carrier. A vehicle that is 18 months old with only 39,000 miles should not fall apart like that if it doesn't strike anything. I've requested copy of report Chrysler used to make their decision.

I have had several issues with this car. For starters when driving it will all of a sudden stop going for no reason. The car didn't die it simply doesn't go. The RPM's stopped working on one occasion and the head light blew out all in the same night. Dealer said there was no connection, so I had to replace the head light for $100. They advised the ground wire was lose so they tightened it. I had my tire blow out for no reason just driving down the road and it blew. Now on occasions my automatic door locks aren't working. And still wont go when giving it gas. It sounds like there is some kind of electrical problem with this model vehicle. I love my car would want a new one. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle at the time until it is fixed. There are no recalls on the vehicle and my warranty is almost up with problems repeating. I don't know what else to do. I just wish Dodge would fix whatever problems there are.
