problem #1

Aug 012016

Durango SLT 5.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 155,000 miles

The driver seat has 'slack' that allows it to move forward/backward about 1 inch. It is really annoying when stopping because that causes your foot to 'automatically' press down 1 inch.

And during a quick stop, it can cause you to over-brake.

Spoke with Dodge Stealership. They are aware of the problem.

No recall on that.... I guess loose seats are ok until they make someone crash!! (probably already has ?!?!?)

Said the motor unit needed to be replaced, $180!!! , since it is not a serviceable part.
