I got in my car to leave for lunch on yesterday and my security light popped on while I attempted to start it and it immedietly shut off. Well I continued to try and start it and had the same results. Well I didn't know until I read the book that after five unsuccessful tries of starting it that the system will shut down! Now my truck is still on the parking lot of my job and I can't get it started. Called the dealership and they told me it would be $250 to get another key. They are going to charge me $70 just to see if its the key that's causing the problem. I see I'm not the only person on this website that has had trouble with their dodge durango. What is the use of having this security feature if you can't even(the owner) get it started! So pissed right now!
