The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Durango. After the contact closed the vehicle door, the dome light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to allen mello Dodge (13 marman dr, nashua, nh) where it was diagnosed that the instrument cluster was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed by the dealer that the part needed to repair the vehicle per NHTSA campaign number: 07V095200 (electrical system) may no longer be available from the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 120,000.

Interior lights, won't come on unless your press the individual light power on button, and then they stay on until the individual light switches are cycled again. Interior lights will not come on when doors are opened, or when attempting to power on via dimmer switch. Dodge mechanics can't even figure out this one.
