problem #2

Apr 232017

Durango R/T V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

The rear lights, called racetrack tail lights are getting water trapped in them and condensation. This caused part of my LED light to burn out. The entire back piece has to be replaced and the cost is over $1000. Part is on "national backorder" according to my local dealerships. Local junk yards do not have them either. I can probably get a ticket for this issue. And - it's annoying as crap - makes my vehicle look like junk!

Durango Limit V6

It is pretty sad that I need to take the car in to have both headlight assemblies replaced. Yes it is under warranty, but need to have the condensation there before bringing it in.
