I heard there was a recall on this rusted strut tower, however when I called Crysler they said "no".

We had found out that there was a recall on the strut tower due to a rust problem. Our biggest complaint was the lack of acknowledgment, from Dodge, that the recall was real. We apologize for not remembering where we got the info on the recall. But we do remember the steps we took. 1) Search the net for recall info on Dodge Caravans. 2) Print this info that you find. 3) Try to find a dealership who will acknowledge the recall and fix the problem for free. Step #3 was our biggest problem. We probably contacted at least 5 different dealerships. The fifth one said " Oh yes, this is a common recall we have dealt with on this vehicle. Most dealerships don't like to acknowledge recalls unless they are highly publicized. Bad business." We live in Illinois... the dealership we dealt with, in 2004, was Anderson Dodge in Rockford, IL. We hope we helped. Good luck, and good hunting.
