Grand Caravan 3.3L

  • Automatic transmission

Every time it rains water gets into the van. Mechanic finds no blockages. Owned this vehicle 10 years and this problem arose a few months ago. Concerned about electrical failure due to water in blower motor housing. Read many complaints about same issue across many model years. Chrysler should do something about this design flaw. My last Grand Caravan never had this problem in 14 years on the road and never averaged!

Grand Caravan SXT 3.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

there has been a leak in the map light where the control panel is above the rear view mirror. whenever it rains heavy the water runs out of the light cover onto the center console. The dealership says it is from the sunroof but they only have a "mist" producing water device so they can't follow the leak. I have taken it to them when it is pouring out and they look & tell me to make an appointment, which when I bring it back of course it is not raining & they can't find it. My fear is the light & "command center" are going to short out. Last dodge for me or if I do decide to try another definitely won't use BaldHill Dodge.
