Bought this new van because my old one was requiring too much service. Now, with a brand new van, I am still requiring multiple service appointments and the problem is not getting fixed. At random times, all of a sudden the windshield wipers turn on and will not turn off. All of the warning lights come on and the "No Bus" error code shows up. There is no power to the sliding doors or back hatch door.

I took it in to dealer and they kept it for a week and inspected all the harness wires and contacted the headquarters for clues as to how to fix this problem. Had me pick up the van with no guarantees that it was truly fixed. Well, it wasn't. It continues to happen after 2nd service where it was there for another week. The dangerous part is that I have no turn signals. It happened over the weekend while driving in a busy downtown area and I had no turn signal. Once the van is shut off for 20 min or so, it seems to "reset" itself and will go back to normal. Very frustrating. Now the dealer will not look at it unless it is an active code happening. The problem with that is I never know when it is going to happen. The last two episodes were on the weekend when the dealership was not open.

Update from Feb 10, 2016: Happened again while driving 3-4 hours after taking it in for service the first time. Going on a long distance trip from Michigan to Nashville. Definitely did not feel safe in this "new" van. Traveling with 4 children. All of a sudden the same problem occurred. Windshield wipers turned on, all warning lights on, no power to sliding doors. Pulled over and let van sit for 20 minutes until the red circle on dash turned off. Restarted van, drove for a little while (less than 1 hour) and the same problem happened again. Had to let sit again. Brought back to dealership when we were home. They kept van for another week and contacted headquarters again. They said they couldn't really do much without an "active code" while the problem was actually happening. The problem with that is it happens at random times and its always when the dealership is closed.

Update from Feb 10, 2016: Recurring problem with "No Bus" code and all warning lights coming on, losing power to sliding doors. Contacted the dealership where purchased and they referred me to the 800 number at Dodge Headquarters. Was told my problem would be sent to the buy back department. When they contacted me, it was the problem resolution center that did nothing to resolve the problem. Basically said I have to drive it during dealership hours until the problem happens and bring it in with the active code. Wasting my time, gas, and putting needless miles on the van with no predictable time as to how long it will take to come on. I'm paying thousands and thousands of dollars for an a brand new unreliable vehicle that requires repeated service appointments. Not easy with 4 kids. Would definitely not recommend this vehicle to people.

Update from Jun 29, 2018: The dealership was not able to figure out the problem after several attempts. An engineer from Chrysler ended up coming out to the dealership to investigate. It ended up being a problem with the wiring behind the driver seat. "Harness under seat areas tracked up left side drivers will plate area ope n circuit in splice soldiered and heat shrieked both splices reassembled interior cleared dtcs.
