Gas tank was leaking, at least that is what the mechanic said. Turned out it was the gas filler, some ends of stainless steel tubes to the fuel injector, as well as the tank. It was plastic and had hole as a result of the "gravel guard coming loose from its holders". Gravel was rubbing against the bottom of the tank for years to make those holes.

Replaced gas filler, tank, and had high pressure tubes tied between tan and fuel injection line. Still working after 1 year.
