I thought that my thermostat gasket was leaking at first, so i bought a new one, and replaced it which by the way was a mother , it was tucked under the alternator. so i got it all together and filled it up with water, as im filling it i hear a steady trickle(errrrrrrrrrrrrr) so i found that it was leaking from the water pump weep hole which is located right up against the thermostat housing. so on to the real problem, i towed the car to a mechanic with a new water pump in hand, when i showed up the mechanic said he didn't like to use that brand of part so he would acquire one from the dealer, sounds like a good idea right? well, he called to order one and dodge said that the were so f__ing stupid when they designed the car that they are not selling the original part anymore and they are in the end stages of re-designing and manufacturing a new one ( well i thats my interpretation) so now my car is going to sit ar the mechanics for 2-12 weeks until stupid dodge comes out with a new water pump. on top of all this when the mechanic examined the car a little farther he found that the coolant had found it's way to the crankcase, so now i get to pay for that bull sh*t too. i love dodge

SO MY QUESTION TO ANYONE READING THIS IS:

is stupid dodge obligated to pay for the replacement of the pump and labor?

BY THE WAY BOYCOTT DODGE
