Journey R/T 3.5L V6 Sohc 24v

  • Automatic transmission
  • 112,000 miles

Bad transfer case at 112,000 miles! Really! I should have known when I noticed one of the tires was wearing quite a bit more than the other 3. It was getting loud too! I thought it was a wheel bearing at first but then noticed that the noise didn't very like it would with a wheel bearing. I've only had the car for about 6 weeks at this point. I'm almost positive the dealership knew what was going on but I can't prove it.

I'll never buy another vehicle from Betten Baker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Inc. in Lowell, MI. Just because I sure they knew that this was going to happen. They aren't kidding when they say your buying "as is". NEVER BUY A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY! NEVER! THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF THE ISSUES I'VE HAD! At what point do you say enough is enough? Every time something happens, you try to tell yourself that all the problems have to be fixed now! Nope! Not with this car.

Journey SXT 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 105,000 miles

Never again shall I buy a Dodge Journey piece of crap. Driving along with son and all of sudden sounded like drive shaft was dragging on the ground. Only 105,000 miles on it and transfer case split. Had Journey 2 yrs and had to replace all wheel bearings, which are not cheap for all wheel drive, radiator, and now a $2,600 transfer case. Why are all Dodges sh*t when it comes to trannys and transfer cases? It's not like my disabled wife and I have $ to blow on something that should have not happened in first place. Bank loan to fix this was only option we had. Now a another bank payment on top of car payment is not what I call a reliable car. Don't buy one people!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Journey SXT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 82,000 miles

This 2009 Dodge Journey SXT has been a real lemon. Multiple manufacturer defects. Most extended warranties won't cover these issues. 80,000 miles and transmission case cracks. Which means car is virtually useless unless fixed. This fix is expensive and warranty company finding all kinds of reasons not to pay.
