We bought the Dodge Journey with expectations of good gas mileage as we planned on a lot of traveling. The best we could get on mileage was 24 MPG. The ride was far less than we expected in a new car and it seemed we had one problem after another. The most disturbing was a Right Rear low tire signal. We took it in (142 mile turn around to the dealer) three times to have it checked. The first two times we were told they checked the low tire indicator system and they had filled the tire to maximum pressure thinking it would seal. The third time in we were looking at the two previous service records and found the second service order had a hand written note saying there was a nail in the tire. When we told the Service Manager he checked and states they would fix it. They did find the nail, repaired the leak and charged us $42.00 because the tires are not covered on the warranty. Three trips (426 miles roundtrip) in what should have been fixed in the first trip (142 mile)! The car had rattles, wind noise, and felt like it was going to tip over when we went around a corner.

It was pretty but it was like a tin can with a lot of fancy electronics in it. We took a huge loss but getting rid of it has been worth it!
