1) cruise control not working and only works when it wants or refuses to turn off this happens sitting still, driving or even if I turn off and on the car for reset it still does not work. The web shows a recall but the Dodge dealership said no recall? this has been on going since we purchased the car and has been in the shop numerous times to get repaired and still not repaired. 2) wheels shake while applying the brakes I have replaced the rotters and brakes and it still does it I see a recall on this also but Dodge says no recall" airbag deployment without cause the internet says recall and the Dodge house says no recall" this Dodge Journey has many problems and should be fixed by the company by recalls. They did not fix the 2010 and they found them selves in a lawsuit, maybe that is what it is going to take on the 2011 also.

"takata recall": local Dodge dealer, inspected the vehicle and replaced the defective part(s), then told my wife the 'actual steering wheel airbag' wasn't working and diagnosed the issue as the electrical connector. They said they would not repair, replace or fix unless we paid the cost for a new airbag, why isn't the airbag part of the recall? we haven't had any accidents in this vehicle nor anything that would, could damage the airbag.. since the dealer is stating the problem is electrical, in the safety system, should this be classed as a 'safety' issue and repaired by the dealer..

The airbag light is on and will not go off. I'm not for sure if the airbag will deploy if I was in a accident. My ECM will not read and it was checked by to different scan tools. I am very concern about my safety. The electronic throttle control light comes on and my vehicle will not start. I am scared to drive my vehicle because I don't know what might happen.

My spouse was driving on I-20 E between mile marker 51 and 52 in SC on 25 July 2014 around 0645 hours and got into a wreck. Prior to the wreck she felt the steering wheel jerk and then she went from the right lane into the guard wires on the left lane then immediately was jolted to the right median. The force of the impact ripped most of the front of the vehicle apart. She was wearing her seatbelt and received seatbelt burns and no airbag deployment. Prior to this incident, on 25 December 2013, around 0700 hours, my spouse was rear ended and the forced was so hard that it lifted her rear end into the vehicle that hit her and crushed the other vehicle's front end, no airbag deployment, and my granddaughter was also in the vehicle at that time. Now when this happened in December, we chalked it up to, "maybe the vehicle wasn't hit right". I contacted Chrysler on July 31 about the incident and sent pictures of both accidents and afterwards they sent an independent inspector from eaa (engineering automotive, the last a I can't remember) then I received a letter dated 21 August 2014 telling me in a nutshell that the onboard computers did not find any faults with the system. Last note, I bought the vehicle new in germany through military sales and starting to believe that there was no airbags in the vehicle.
