Our Dodge Magnum has flickering headlights as well as dash lights also flicker. We our currently unable to drive the vehicle safety at night. Dodge says it could be 2 potential problems, first try replacing the light switch which has been done. The problem still exist, next to replace the FCM [front control module]. the FCM is on back order with no release date avaliable. Ok so they said to replace the PCM which includes the FCM which is also not avaliable. The lighs only flicker when the vehicle is running and at night. Makes no difference when turning or speed. We have contacted multiple dealers an all have the same response. The dealers sugested we try a junk yard for a use FCM, but how can we be sure that solves the problem. The problem started around January 2018. We purchased the car new 2005. We feel this is a major safety issue that needs to be address asap. Please help

After my airbag recall, the car stopped running above 20mph. Returned it to the dealership only to find that it was the power control module, that would cost $1500 to fix. Somethings not right here..

I have contacted Dodge after my Magnum nearly killed me (literally). They told me to 'pay for my repairs and keep my receipt in case of a recall'. this is a huge safety issue and it needs attention. My gas pedal literally broke off while I was driving and was stuck wide open. By that I mean it broke off completely from the assembly that holds the pedal to the actual car itself! then, after I contacted them to bring it in to a shop, the shifter would not shift out of drive, and when I got it out of drive, it will not move from park!! I have done a lot of research and this is a common problem in this year of Magnum!!! it is going to kill someone!!! thank god I was at home so no one else would have been harmed and I was able to think quickly! I literally almost crashed into two very large cement silo's! they refuse to repair this issue!!! it shouldn't matter how many miles (it has 157K which is pretty low for that year) I have never had a gas pedal break off nor have I ever heard of this before I started my search!!

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT. I have approximately 164,000. Miles on the car. For the past few months I have experienced starting problems. When I turn the key to start the car nothing will happen. By accident I pressed the lock/alarm set on my key while sitting in the car. So I unlocked the car (still sitting in it) and tried to re-start the car, and it started right up. I have experienced this at least 4 times now with more frequency and did the same thing to start the car. It has worked every time, but this is not something I want to rely on.

The fuel pump is located directly under the passenger side back seat. It has a leak, and my car has been smeeling like gas for a month now without my knowledge. I finally took it to a mechanic and there was a poddle of gas under the seat where the nipple on the fuel pump broke. Not to mention my battery in the trunk, well the wires cross right over the fuel pump. This is not safe at all. These items should be nowhere near each other.

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum as I was driving home the etc light came on the dash board, then moments later my car just died, shut completely down, I let it sit for a little bit then cranked it back up, but it kept shutting down with the etc light continuing to come on, I then took it to auto care to get it looked at, .... they said it was the throttle body, they replaced it and I paid $168, the next morning I go to get in my car and the light comes back on and same problem happens they now say they must of gotten a faulty throttle body, changed it out again, next morning same thing happens, now they replace the main computer take it to Dodge get the computer reprogrammed and I pay $267, guess what next day it does it again. Now Dodge has my car and they replace a solenoid-throttle body, I pay them $476 after telling them the hole story they still replace the throttle body. Guess what the next morning I have my car towed back to Dodge dealership, doing the same thing.... they now replace the board and say it might be a wiring problem but they think they got it, they have no idea what is wrong with my car.very frustrating I wish someone could help me.. okay now I started to poke around myself at home and found that one of the four wire harnesses to the coumuter is to blame. I push on it and the car goes into limp mode. I now have an appointment to have a dealer fix it. I don't want to start only to find I can't buy the wire terminators needed in the plug.

Since I have purchased the car there have been numerous issues. I did purchase the car as is, I am leasing it at $250 month. The total cost of the car is over 11,000 dollars and there are too many issues and problems with the vehicle. The lights for instance seem to have a shortage of some sort, because they come in and out. The rear airbag light comes on periodically and will not go off. There seems to be a problem with the ignition switch as well. I have spent a good amount of money on this vehicle, I would like to get my moneys worth. I am driving an unsafe vehicle and I have two children that I am responsible for driving around.
