Started having issue with headlights. When I turned them on, they would go off and come back on. Then, oil indicator light would come on and go off. Trouble with radio staying on and CD player. Sometimes, seats would heat, other times not. Put her in drive, and she would go. Thermostat light came on. Also, noticed that A/C wasn't blowing normal and air was actually becoming warmer. Took to dealer. They suggest changing thermostat based on latest finding. Just had tune-up with C air/fuel induction service and throttle body system service 10 days prior to this to the tune of $535.56. Voiced concerns at that time, minus the last two that had occurred since tune up. Came back to lounge about 90 minutes later, after telling me they were going to change out thermostat and said that things just weren't adding up and they were going to check 'wiring'. Come back an hour or so later to tell me the TIPM isn't getting energy. Their solution: replace TIPM to the tune of $795. A day later, car still at shop. Told that the dealer's computer was having problems programming the TIPM. 10 minutes later, receive a call that TIPM now has energy, but the front module does not. Their solution: Replace front module.

The other day I got in my car and tried to start it. It didn't start. It seemed like the battery was dead. Once I jumped the car and it was started. I sat down and noticed that the ESP/BAS light was on. I thought that it might go away so I carried on with my trip to work. As I left my house and tried to use my turn signal, it would not turn on. Come to find out a couple things did not work, to include but not limited to: Front windows Power mirrors Cruise control Wind Shield wipers Turn Signals Horn

After going to the dealership in Temple TX. I asked a service writer (Randy, Nice guy) what it might be. He said exactly what I had been researching. The TIPM is fried. I asked how much it would cost. He told me around $1200-$1000. After more research, I found that I am not alone in this mess. Many more people just like myself are going through the same thing. The people that are able to spend $1200-$1000 are coming back to the forums, telling everyone else the part is on national back order and will not be fixed for another 2-3 months after they purchased the part. Hopefully something can be done.

Chrysler needs to know that there are quite a few unhappy customers out there. If they stood behind their product to accept they put a faulty part on the car that would be wonderful. I understand that this would cost them some money, but this will not cost them a future customers. That would cost even more money in the end.
