Neon SXT 2.0L

  • 13,000 miles

new neon started to shake steering wheel when applying the brakes, had approx. 12000 miles on car, waited too long to take it to the dealer. brakes warranty only good to 12000. Read and reread your warranty book, I didn't. Took it in and they said they could turn the rotors for a charge. Had that done and it lasted for approx. 2000 miles. I took the rotors off and found that they were turned .008 under min. Bought new rotors made in Canada. Fixed the problem. Asked a auto tech about the problem and he said that Dodge was using cheap made rotors, bad steel.

When you by a new car you do so thinking that you,ve made a good investment. Not if you bought this piece. The dealerships tell you theres nothing wrong or that this stuff is normal but it's just a load off horse S-it. Why would Dodge think people would buy another car from them. I want and I hope there business go under.

Brake rotors had to be replaced at 13,000 miles. Dodge says the warranty only goes to 12,000 miles. Why would a brand new car, barely broken in, need new brake rotors?
