Ram 1500 SLT Plus 5.9L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

The heated seats, found only in the SLT Plus package, were junk. When they worked they were ok - kind of slow to heat up by comparison to other cars. Once heated, were nice. However, in 75K miles, the drivers seat heat element failed TWICE. I replaced it once, for around $200 for the part, and provided the labor myself. It failed after about 2 years a second time. It is bad design, which is the hallmark of all Chrysler products. BAD QUALITY across the board on my dodge. No wonder they are bankrupt (again.)
