15V-313 we have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 that has all the issues I've read on here for complaints. The wind shield wipers only work on the highest setting and when turned off stop wherever on the windshield when you turn the switch to shut them off, the engine seems to be leaking oil some place, have had to replace both front wheel hub assembelies, rear end has foam in the fluid, im guessing from reading this that my rear axel is about to fly out from underneath my teuck while driving by the way it sounds and slips, and now a recall on air bags. I fear everytime I drive behind the wheel of my truck and by the sounds of it after reading all these complaints that there is good reason to fear for my life. How many people have to die before something is done. These vehicles should not be made available to drive if there this dangerous. Sounds like Chrysler should be buying these trucks back so all there customers dont have to risk there lives driving down the road in a poor designed vehicle the produced. Not sure why there allowed to keep them on the streets being so dangerous to drive. Our truck has every problem that people have complained about on here but yet only has one recall when looked up by VIN. Why is that?

The contact owned a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. While the vehicle was stationary, the vehicle erupted into flames on the driver side. The vehicle was destroyed. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The contact was not near the vehicle at the time of the explosion. The fire department extinguished the fire. The vehicle was not replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. Shortly after, the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15V313000 (air bags). It was diagnosed that the air bag exploded and combusted into flames due to the nature of the takata air bag recall. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000. Updated 09/29/16 consumer stated the recall notice state: "the drive airbag inflator may rupture, due to excessive internal pressure if exposed to high levels of absolute humidity for extended periods of time." I have repeatedly tried to book in my truck to have the airbag replaced at my local dealer shottenkirk's Cherokee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 200 Liberty blvd, canton, ga 30114. It seems each of my last four of many visits they have either not the part in stock or would need the truck for an overnight or longer with no courtesy vehicle available each time. It does seem they just don't want to do it and make excuses or place obstacles in my way?

"takata recall" for driver airbag inflator have received three recall notices over the last eighteen months and have visited egolf moters in brevard, nc three times. Each time they say they can get only two parts per week. Today they said they are working on ausust 2015 now. They are working on a first-come-first- serve plan. "takata says the ammonium nitrate propellant doesn't cause problems until the degration process has proceeded a very long way, and then the results fairly quickly go to rupture". they say the process could take 10 years, while some lawyers say 7 years for some. Shouldn't they be changing the oldest first?
