Takata recall Dodge has not completed the recall repair on our Dodge Ram because they say they do not have the part & do not know when they will get the part. We are constantly getting urgent calls telling us to schedule an appointment with our local Dodge dealer. Our local dealer tells us they don't have the part & they tell us that they will call us when they have the part. We have contacted Chrysler in an email & they say the same thing. Meanwhile we have to drive with fear, knowing that this defective part has killed people, it is scary. We are reaching out because this is wrong & no one else should lose their life or suffer injury. Our local Dodge & Chrysler have not offered any other remedy, yet they constantly call telling us how urgent this recall is & how important it is for us to get it repaired. It is nonsense & it is negligent on their part. I hope you can help all of us who are facing this gigantic problem.

Takata inflator - this recall was issued on May 24th, 2016. I am not satisfied that a solution is not offered and new parts not installed. We use this vehicle daily and for my children to still be at risk of injury or even death appalls me that this is close to a year and no resolution. I am thankful we did not have an accident yet but this should not be just a complaint for after the fact. We need this resolved before someone is hurt or killed and at that point a it wont just be an informal complaint but a full fledged law suit.
