Ram 1500

  • 125,000 miles
The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. While the vehicle was parked, the contact was wearing the front driver seat belt and attempted numerous times to release the seat belt mechanism. The seat belt locking mechanism would not function which resulted to the contact in cutting the seat belt webbing to allow him to exit from the seat belt. The dealer was notified and they informed that there was not a recall. The contact mentioned a recall related to the front passenger seat belt, under the NHTSA campaign id number 06V354000. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The failure mileage was 125,000.
