unresolved/undiagnosed vibration and shaking coming from rear of truck; since day 1.

made multiple trips to dealer svc, during my ownership- never fixed, and eventually

told by Chrysler that is how the truck is supposed to be.what a piece of junk. u could actually see the passenger seat and cup holder shaking violently while driving.

Ram 1500 LX 4.7L

I have a 2006 Quad Cab 4x4 4.7L truck and ever since just about 5,000 miles I have been dealing with a vibration in my truck. For me I couldn't tell if it was in the front or back. My wife and I have been back to the dealership oh... say 15 times now and have not gotten the problem fixed.

I all started I think after a recall that made us get the front bearings replace do to the bearings not being packed properly at the factory. then it all went down hill from there. From there it went from arguing about it being the tires and replacing them with new ones from tire factory. Courtesy of the Tire Factory I got new tires all the way around on my 20" Big Horn Package tires. But it was not meant to be. After about 2 more times of the tire gig Verger went on to resurface the rotor twice before replacing them. Then it was on to a multitude of other things for which I cannot remember the sequences.

My wife and I are now being told that it is a "common issue" problem with the 1500 model and that since they (Verger, Chrysler, Dodge, & Jeep Coosbay, Or 97420) have come up with this conclusion (All of Verger's employees who work on the vehicles and the District Manager) that there is nothing else that they can do for me. When I asked them what about my lemon form that I turned in at about 9-10K miles! They said, well now that we know that it is a common issue in the 1500 model we aren't going to be able to address the vehicle as a lemon.

So I called them back just a second ago and requested a letter in writing from them stating that my truck is having a "common issue" problem with it and that there is nothing they can do to fix it. AND that since it has a "common issue" with it they (The Service Manager & District Manager) are not going to be able to serve or deem it as a lemon or do a by back.

Oh and Chrysler has been no help at all except for giving us the run-around. And where did my lemon form go to. They sure as hell don't know because they don't deal with that the state does.

Ram 1500 SLT V8

The service manager has done nothing but give me the royal run around. He actually told my fiance that he "could not deal with him" and "he was banned from the dealership." The reason, because he questioned why a new rim was not put on my truck, since there have now been 5 new tires installed and the problem remains.

I realize that everyone has problems, but I am ill, my fiance has stage 4 kidney cancer, and I am in the middle of sorting my mom and dad's house, as my dad passed away at the end of July. YUCK WITH THE TRUCK...5 trips to the dealer (and two to the very nice Goodyear Tire place), in addition to the endless telephone calls, and the problem is still as bad as ever!! When I picked the response, "This vibration is a PAIN IN THE ASS," I meant it literally, as I have recently had a pin implanted in my hip, and it is extremely painful to have all the extra vibrating and bouncing on the seat.

Well, I am told that the "REP" has been off for the holidays, but "is up to speed" with my truck, and he will come to the dealership and drive/ride in the truck with us (meaning the service manager, me and the REP)----why....????? I sincerely hope this problem is fixed this time, as I am tired of making pointless trips back and forth to the dealership and wasting my time.

Why can't the people just do what they said and put a new rim on the rear to see if it fixes the problem? Are they a controlled substance or what?
