Ram 1500 1500 SLT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 93,206 miles

hot day driving enjoying the weather, got home and the windows won't go up....

SOLUTION:

its got something to do with the "Circuit Board" since there is no fuse to check its power is straight from the CB. what i did was find the wire for the power windows from the CB and connect a fuse and just hardwire it straight to the battery, it won't drain the battery and it doesn't suck up power untill used...

hope this helps

Ram 1500 SLT 4.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,000 miles

On a nice warm day my wife and I stopped to get ice cream. While she was inside I rolled both front windows down. When she returned I rolled them up before leaving and her side would only go up half way. I tried taking it down again and it cracked. So I drove home with a window cracked and half way up and my wife complaining because it was blowing her hair around. The dealer proceeded to fix it but when I picked it up none of the windows would go up or down. Another 4 days in the shop. What a piece of crap.
