All Dodge ram owners should call Denso the manufacturer of the this product. Dodge will not do one damn thing about it. I emailed Denso about this problem. Will I get a response, I doubt it. It's like pissing in the wind !!!

I have the same problem as most owners of this vehicle. The heater floor vent barely works and even though you have it set to blow on the floor only, your feet freeze while your face burns up. More air comes out at the top.....real bummer

I don't understand when reading problems with the heater vent system it seems to have happened ofter with the dodge ram trucks it is a great truck but these are problems that make a person very angry when they spent so much on a new truck to get away from these types of problems not pay more and still have same type of problems as I did with my old truck the only difference is now I have a payment and no f ing heat working correctly wow should have kept my old truck at least it was paid for

I have call chrysler about this, and my dealer, they both know there is a problem with the heater box and has been sense 2002, but continue to use it and not take cae of the problem. They want the owner to pay for the repair and I feel it's a bunch of sh*t! I have to take mine in to get dealer to say what is wrong, the service manager already knows, just a waste of my time, but that is what they want, and then might give me some assistance on the repair bill. I'm calling a lawyer about this and seeing about a class action lawsuit.

I'm sick and tire of cold feet and heat blowing in my face on the way to work in the mornings. I put the blower switch indicator to feet and air comes out of the defroster vent on at the windshield. The truck started this at 56000 miles.

Many have said that the problem with the vent door was fixed on the 2007 dodge rams not in my case Feet freeze while the rest melts called dealer about problem and i also am looking at a 800.00 dollar repair. i also believe a recall should be made on this problem. Talked to tech about problem and he said they have plenty of doors in stock, so they know it is an on going problem. so what the Hell are you to do? I guess suck it up an get it fixed or ware 3 pairs of socks

My friend had the same problem with his 2004, he never fixed it because lease was up.

This is a huge pain in the ass in the colder months as I try to heat the truck from the lower vents it only comes from the upper vents, so as my feet are freezing I am getting hot air blown in my face. Any one else had this problem and how do you fix it without ripping the dash apart?
