While driving AT40 mph another vehicle T-boned consumer's vehicle oon the driver's side. Upon impact, driver's side air bag did not deploy. Driver sustained neck injuries, and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The vehicle was towed to the dealer.

Vehicle was totalled. Dodge sent out an independent inspector to body shop. Consumer hasn't gotten a reason from anyone why airbags didn't deploy.

Passenger's airbag was off and on, switch can be turned on with a coin or a small toy by a child. Also, air bag light came on indicating that airbag was on. Dealer could not tell consumer if airbag was actually on when this happened. Dodge said that was how it worked in all their vehicles, but refused to test switch. The air bag switch seems to be defective and could cause injury or even death to children riding in the vehicle.
