Recall notice sent by mail from Chrysler in 2/2015 for defective airbags. Was put on list with local dealer, 30 miles away, and said they would call when parts arrived. Kept checking back thru summer to see if part had been received. Finally got call at end of August and was given date of 9/15/2015 to bring vehicle in. Got replacement on both airbags! In 7/2016 got another notice for defective airbag for same vehicle. Took this lightly as already had this replaced and guessing the dealership had not reported it repaired to the proper authority. As time went on getting calls that I missed, don't know who's calling or don't recognize a number due to extreme amount of marketing calls, the phone did not get answered. Finally after seeing the same number that kept calling, over a period time, was a Chrysler rep. asking me if problem of airbag had been resolved. I told her it had been replaced back on 8/15/2015. She still showed need of replacement. Then called FCA Recall Assistance Center on safety recall notice to talk to agent. They looked up my case and found out that the passenger airbag that was replaced on 8/15/2015 was DEFECTIVE!!!!! Replacing a defective airbag with another defective airbag! Called dealer back (4/2017)and got on list. Finally got call, 5/2017, and parts dept. received passenger airbag. Replacement done on 7/12/2017. What a headache!
