Ram 2500 SLT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,000 miles

3rd transmission in this truck. Never abused. Forget help from Dodge. They know they have a fatal design flaw. They created the 66rfe (2012) to replace the 545rfe but you can't retro into earlier models. What a shame!

Ram 2500 Laramie 5.9L Cummins Diesel

  • Manual transmission
  • 96,313 miles

I bought the 6 speed manual tranny because i hear nothing but bad stories with the automatic transmission. apparently the manual trans is not any better. I don't do any heavy hauling and don't abuse the truck off road. Not very impressed that a four year old truck needs a new transmission already after 155000 kms. Bullshit!
