Well all I can say is do not buy dodge.. I should of bought the ford or Chevy duallies that I looked at the same time as this one. Never again dodge, never again.

Headed down the highway and my truck jerked right into the next lane. I had no control over the truck! I heard a grinding noise and just babied it home. The next day I drove it to the local repair shop (won't deal with the dealer anymore...crooks). I had both sides replaced since the driver side was showing signs of being on its way out too! Took all day because the bad bearing welded itself to the axle.

2003 Dodge Ram 3500. Three years ago I found out 3rd generation trucks had a great idea! Put a junk wheel bearing assembly, $800( just for the part) instead of a spindle & bearing! This is the 3rd time in 5 years for driver side. (2nd time passenger side) (66000 miles) Why!! take away a proven spindle tapered bearing assembly? Has any one else had this problem? Dodge has no upgrade! Cliff note first bearing cam from Dodge. The rest were bought from NAPA, they did not go bad with in the 1 year warranty. Love the drive train! hate the dumb ass front end.
