Stratus SE 4 cyl

Wife complained of a musty smell inside car. Decided to shampoo carpets to get rid of smell, only to find a pool of water under the passenger seat. The carpet beneath the floor mat and the sound damping were completely soaked with moldy, musty water. The A/C condensate drain was clogged causing the condensate to overflow into the car. Used a compressor to blow out the drain on the engine side of the firewall. Spoke with the local dealer and was told "sorry, nothing we can do". Removed the moldy damping material and cleaned the carpet, but the smell is still nauseating. As a sidenote, this occurred with our last vehicle, a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan - and is the reason we chose to buy the Stratus!
