I would never buy another car without a spare; I carry one now. The Ford promise of a tow to the nearest dealer is worthless (e.g. at midnight Sat. night, 2 miles from home and 10 from the nearest (closed) dealer.) Also worthless halfway between Los Angeles and Sacramento on Hwy 5. Luckily, AAA fills the gap left by Ford.
