Contour LX 2.5L V6

So first off, the regulator on the driver door belonging to the car was broken when I bought it...it sucked. Car was in decent shape otherwise or so I had thought. Anyway, had door replaced with a door that was in better shape w/ a working regulator and motor from my old car. Worked great until about the time it started getting cold. One day I had rolled it down and it made a grinding sound and a loud bang. Much to my surprise and frustration it wouldn't roll back up so I been driving it in the winter time with the window stuck down...it blows so much I just knew at that moment that this car was really gonna be something "special" and it certainly has... 10 issues in 6 months, must be some kind of a record.

At first I was in disbelief. I could hear the window motor working but it wouldn't go up. My nephew-in-law thought it was just off-track. When I found out how much it cost, I was shocked. I was upset because I almost got the door apart but couldn't find the hidden screws.
