Takata recall. My airbag was recalled a year ago and still has not been replaced, even after I've made multiple phone calls to Ford. I'm very concerned about the unsafe airbag, especially since this car has been registered in very wet and humid parts of the country: North Carolina, Indiana and Oregon. I'd like Ford to repair my car with a replacement airbag immediately or provide me with a non-affected Ford Edge to drive until mine is made safe.

Takata recall I received the safety recall letter on March 2017 and since then I have called Ford dealership several times and was told that parts not available yet and they would notify us by mail once they have the parts. This is way overdue and I am not feeling safe driving a car which has a problem with the airbags. Please redirect my complaint toward them so they get the parts asap and fix the problem.

Takata recall... Ford dealerships are refusing to give me (and other Ford owners affected by the airbag recall) a loaner car or rental car. I live in a state with high humidity, which means there's a higher failure rate. My wife could be number 19 in the death toll so far! in Ford's letter to me regarding this, they simply state "do not allow anyone to sit in the first row passenger seat". that is a horrible statement, which effectively means "sorry, 50% of your car is unusable until we find a solution a year from now"! all other companies affected by this recall are offering it's customers a safe vehicle to ride during the wait. Ford should as well! please attempt to push them to do so. Thank you.

Takata recall. I received this recall notice yesterday, I have spoken to my Ford dealership, and to Ford customer relationship and received the same response. That the parts are on back order till spring and they are sorry. I am being inconvenienced, I have a family, I can not go without putting someone in the passenger seat. I have no other way to Transport my family, and Ford doesn't care about my family needs. If I am inconvenience by this Ford issue, then I want to be compensated.

Takata recall. Dealership and Ford Motor Company have no information on availability of the replacement air bags, or, at least they say the have no information. Yet Chrysler corporation advertises that they have replacement air bags and want their customers to make appointments to get the replacement completed. This tells me that the bags are available and Ford's claims should be investigated.

"takata recall" - recall was June 2016 and keep calling Ford and still cannot fix it. They can build new cars and make money but not fix a very bad problem of cars they already made money on, which is not right. They should be help accountable to do a fix that's dangerous than bringing new cars off their assembly line!!!!

Takata recall. I received a recall notice from Ford on March 17, 2017 describing an "issue" regarding potential metal fragments in the airbags. I tried to get the airbags replaced in cleveland, at Liberty Ford. We moved to hilton head in the spring of 2017 and I have since tried to get the airbags replaced, on November 6, 2017 at O.C. welch Ford in hardeeville, SC. Neither dealerships will replace the airbags because they state the replacement airbags are "not available" and that Ford will send me a letter advising me when parts are available. Part of the problem may be that I did not buy my 2009 Ford Edge at a dealership. I bought it while I was stationed in landstuhl, germany with the navy. I bought it through overseas military sales and picked the car up at a dealership in parma oh after it was shipped there. This shouldn't have any bearing on Ford replacing my airbags, but perhaps it does.
