Recently noticed rust on the underside of the lift gate, it has spread across the width of the lift and is now creeping up the exterior handle. Didn't notice it as it was underneath, but now that the paint is starting to flake off around the handle I am able to see what a huge problem this is!

I bought this Edge brand new in August 2011 and it took only one winter to have rust issues. I took it to the dealer and they repainted the inner rear liftgate 2 times. The last time was just last May 2014 and it lasted one winter AGAIN and the paint has just peeled off like it was painted so cheaply!! Now I have rust on both rear wheel wells and under the front hood! Ford tries blaming the winter weather but that is BS! I'm so pissed I spent 30k on a RUST BUCKET!!!

I bought this supposed amazing car 2 years ago used but like new and the SYNC system went then the damn camera back up system!
Now it's rusting the whole tailgate across on the inside and outside now. I am so angry - I am contacting the news media about being conned not only by the dealer but by the Ford commercials played locally which my cousin was part of! I want FORD to take care of this issue with this horrible vehicle!
If you Google all the problems I have had you will find these should have been recalled!! I am furious and will not let this go! I owe $8900 on this horrible vehicle!! I drove my Nissan PATHFINDER 2003 for 13 years!!! NO RUST AT ALL!!! With over 300,000 miles on it!!! This FORD EDGE 2011 IS CRAP!!!
