No comments. It has never happened in all of the cars I have had (BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Cadillac, Toyota)

A/C / Heating Blower Motor does not perform on high. Already had it fixed two years ago and now having the same issue.

Love the Edge, but really hate the issues it has from a reliability standpoint.

Edge SEL V6

The air conditioner blows half cool air and half hot air. The vents in the back of the car are broken. The door latches are broken and the lights stay own for hours. The car lights go own every night at the same time and stay on for at least an hour. The doors unlock and won't stay closed. It is very dangerous because I have a child and had someone try to get inside of my car with my child in the back. The sunroof is squeaking. When I make a right full turn my car makes a hissing noise. The sync is off and apparently needs to be reprogrammed and Airport Marina sold me a bogus warranty that seems to cover nothing. I was told it was bumper to bumper and it turned out to be a big fraud. I asked if I could use this portfolio warranty at another location and I was told no. My car has been sitting at service for 2 weeks now. When I fill my car with gas it turns off. This car is garbage and so is Airport Marina. Do not buy from them unless you have a mechanic who can look at the vehicle for you.

The heater fan started making a terrible, noise and stopped blowing on a recent trip in below zero weather. It affected the defrost too.

Thankfully, it is muddling along and if we keep the fan on low, it seems to be working okay.

This Ford Edge has ended up being the biggest lemon we have ever purchased. It was a beautiful car until it hit 100k miles and is now falling apart, bit by bit. We will never purchase a Ford product again. We have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that is nearing 400K miles and we will keep it long after we get rid of the POS Edge.

I took the car to the Ford dealership service department I bought it from. I was told at first that the "drain" hose was clogged up with dirt and debris and that it was "regular maintenance" and not covered under my extended warranty I paid quit a lot of money for. I asked why a two year old car I bought NEW would have a problem like this as I have had much older cars that never had a problem like this. I bought a NEW car so that I would not have to worry about problems such as this.

I later called the service department at the dealership back and was then told by the service dept. manager that it wasn't "really" regular maintenance and in an, oh by the way manner, he said he received an engineers alert that they have the "new evaporator cases. I said, so you HAVE had problems with the air conditioners in these cars, and he replied yes! When I am able to get the deductible amount saved to pay for the warranty work I will have this hopefully fixed. I have already had trouble with the door ajar light and windshield wipers randomly coming on and was told this is also a part that has to be replaced. I wonder what else will go wrong with a car only two years old.
