Edge Sport 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 147,002 miles

It sucks that I had to force my panoramic roof closed. It hasn’t been used except maybe 3 or 4 times since i bought my car new in 2013. I’m afraid to try and reopen it. Ford should fix these issues and stop making excuses.

The sunroof will not close completely - my car has been in the shop for 3 weeks now. I have to come up with 1200 to fix. They have had many issues with the problem, it should be a recall.

Edge SEL V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

Had my panoramic roof open, went to close it and it got to about 6 inches from closed and it retracted again. Cleared the track to ensure nothing was causing an issue and tried again. Same issue happened. We ended up needing to manually push the window and button shut at the same time.

Chronic problem with roof according to blogs. Dealer told me it is a design problem and I need to clean and oil track. Supposedly there is a sequence to make roof close per info from a blogger. Ford has no answer and I feel should make a recall on Vista roof and fix problem.

Update from Jan 11, 2015: no fix per Ford district rep.
