front driver side window scratching when opening/closing

I have been complaint to the dealership about the issue since shortly after buying the vehicle new. The service department only noted my complaint once. This is a safety issue because eventually when glass is scored/scraped enough it will break on a given weak point.

Now I am in to my extended warranty and Ford will not address the issue and i was told I should have while it was in the 60,000 km warranty period. I did complain and ask for it to bee assessed and fixed and nothing was done.

I have seen so many second generation Ford Escapes with the same problem on not just the drivers window but the front passengers as well. I think people need to all make Ford aware of this.

Since I bought this vehicle I noticed that every time I rolled down the two front windows something was scratching them. They are considerably scratched. I have fixed one, the driver side, but had to save up to fix the other one, the cost for the one I fixed was $200. I believe this is a Ford problem that they should pay for...recall.
