The contact owns a 2014 Ford Escape. While reversing out of the driveway, the rear driver's door swung open. The contact stopped, exited the vehicle, and attempted to close the door; however, it would not latch. The contact stated that the same failure occurred in October of 2018 to the rear passenger door. The contact scheduled an appointment with mcree Ford (2800 gulf freeway, dickinson, tx 77539) to have the vehicle diagnosed and repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 52,000.
